ASB Regional Centre Waikato Cnr Bryce and Barton Street Hamilton Central

I turned up just before 4pm in an pretty empty branch to open a bank account for my daughters and the CBC / teller told me that we had to book a time. Such a poor customer service. Just because she wanted to make sure she finished at 4.45pm. We already bank with them, so giving the AML or KYC excuse was not acceptable. She just opted for what suited her, not looking after the client. No customer centric at all.

On 25/06/21, after a visit to Inland Revenue I called in at ASB's regional centre in the city centre, Hamilton in order to find out how to facilitate IR being able to pay some money into my ASB account. I also wanted to know whether it was possible to activate a new South African bank credit card here in New Zealand. The help I received from David Billingham was exceptional! Thanks again David.

Disgusting service. Been standing in line for 28 mins. One customer has been at the counter for the whole time I’ve been here. Useless guy David at the till seems to be going over and above to service this one customer perhaps because she’s transferring over 100$k yip I can hear everything he’s saying. Not very private! No one out in the queues helping. Absolutely disgusting service!! And I came here to get cash and I CANT GET CASH 😂😂😂

Good overall bank chain -Pro, Good self managed service. -Con, Some of the staff members are very rude and display a lack of understanding of there own and governmental rules.

Judith was accommodating, she helped us a lot during the account opening progress.
