ASB Nelson Branch Corner Trafalgar and Hardy Street Nelson

I came in to sort my bank account which had been lying dormant for over 10 years due to moving overseas. Sam was so helpful in getting it up and running again, making the whole process really seamless despite my screaming toddler causing havoc in the background. As a visitor to NZ I was very surprised when the trainee behind the counter took obvious pleasure telling me smugly that I needed to be a ASB customer to get change for a meter. This is despite being a customer of ASB's parent company Commmonweath Bank of Australia. I'm sure this trainee, will do well in ensuring ASB doesn't expand too much into the Nelson region. I am looking to move back to NZ, and will need a new bank, but...
