The staff were attentive to customer requests, though the service process took some time and the waiting period was a bit long. The Assistant Manager, however, was very polite and demonstrated excellent customer care. It’s worth noting that the branch seems to prioritise high-end customers first, while others may have to wait a little longer.

Visited the HNB Malabe branch today to renew my ATM card, but the service was extremely slow! I waited for almost 40 minutes with no progress, so I had to leave without getting anything done. Very disappointing experience. Hoping the branch improves its customer service and efficiency.

The people working in the bank don't feel like they want to work. They forget how to smile and greet customers. They don't even know what they are doing. You ask for something and they are doing something else and give like half done work and half incompleted documents. Seems like all the good staff have left abroad. And the ones working are just working cause they don't have a choice and are not interested in the work they do !!

Worst security OIC. Doesn’t know how to talk to customers. I don’t recommend this branch if you are going to become a continuous customer of this branch. You will surely have a bad mood when entering into the bank. My experience on 14/07/2025
