The service at the HNB Card Centre has been extremely unprofessional from the very beginning. Getting the card itself turned into a nightmare because the courier service messed things up, forcing me to make multiple calls just to have it redirected to the nearest branch in my area. After finally activating the card, I did not receive any transactional SMS alerts, even though every other type of messages promotions, feedback requests, and random notifications keeps coming through. I reported the issue, but nothing has been done for days. Imagine using a credit card without any transactional SMS alerts; it’s genuinely alarming. The attitude I got was basically that it’s “just a couple of days” and it might sort itself out. It’s clear they don’t really care about the inconvenience or the risk this creates for customers.

HNB CREDIT CARD PROMOTER NAME IS KAVEESH MENDIS.HE TOLD OUR STAFF THEY GIVE CREDIT LIMIT BASIC SALARY * 10 . AS THAT METHOD, HE WANT TO GIVE MY CREDIT LIMIT RS. 400,000/- . BUT HE GIVE ONLY RS. 40,000/-. PROMOTER IS NOT ANSWER MOBILE PHONE. VERY VERY POOR. HNB MANAGEMENT , PLEASE PROTECT YOUR GOODWILL.

The worst card center of them all. - 0% professionalism. - 0% courtesy. - 0% responsibility. - Never depend on one representative's data/info, as the next will tell something else. better to double or triple check, as they mislead customers with faulty info. - If there was a 0 - star rating option available, I would've selected that.

I have been trying to cancel my credit card for over 2 months now, and it’s been a nightmare. I emailed letters to the head office and the card center with no response. I even called customer service, and they assured me it would be canceled in two weeks. It’s now been three weeks, and my card is still active. What else do you want me to do?
