It was a complete disgrace. I went there yesterday to unlock my online account, and to my surprise, one of the staff members shamelessly told me he couldn't unlock it because I don't have health insurance with them. Since when is insurance mandatory? Everyone is free to do as they please. And now I have to cancel my account because I have no other choice; the same guy at reception canceled it for me. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone; they're incompetent.
The service at this branch is terrible, and they seem to use questionable sales tactics. I went to make a bank transfer, and they held it up with excuses, as if they controlled my money without any qualms or shame. If you want a credit card, they practically force you to buy insurance, even though they can't explain the coverage themselves. The manager, Silvia, is quite rude and only speaks to you if you're about to sign up for something. In my experience, their advice was nonexistent.
It was a huge disappointment to discover that the customer checkout service is only open from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. It's a very limited space for any employee…
Beware of this branch or this bank in general; they lie and deceive as they please. I went to open a business account in May 2024, and they told me I had to have a personal account with them to do so. I didn't understand why, but they told me not to worry, that it was a free account, that it wouldn't cost me any money, and that I didn't have to use it; it was just a requirement to open the business account. Since I had to open the business account and it was free, I thought, "Okay... let's open it." So I opened both accounts, the personal and the business one. I put €300 into the personal account, just to put something in there, and then forgot about it. Well, imagine my surprise when, in December 2025, I checked my account to see how much I had deposited—€200 or €300—thinking I'd use it for something. Upon logging in, I found I'd been charged almost €200 in maintenance fees and interest...yes, almost €200 in fees and interest in about 18 months, for a supposedly free account. I contac
Terrible service from Mr. Carlos Carpio. This has been my branch for 20 years with direct deposit of my salary. This man is arrogant, provides poor and rushed service, and doesn't listen much.
