They were able to open an account quickly, without Cita, and I was able to put my money there immediately

The worst service I've ever received. The staff has no customer service skills and can't even provide acceptable service. Especially the guy with black hair—his service was awful and he had absolutely no willingness to help. I've been a BBVA customer for several years. We went in to open a new account for a family member and asked to activate the "refer a friend" program. First, they said yes, then they said no because the account would be opened with a passport (this isn't a requirement in the bank's terms and conditions). We also have a valid NIE (Foreigner Identification Number) and a salary of €1400 will be deposited into the account. I expressed my dissatisfaction, and their response was to go to another bank. Basically, they kicked us out of the branch.

Although my experience today was good (the woman served us very well), the last time I went, another person didn't seem very willing to work. He looked very comfortable reclining in his chair with his coffee (which I don't care about), but the fact that he told me that the things I asked for could be done through the app (when they can only be done in person), that he didn't give me any new information or bother to promote BBVA as a bank showed a complete lack of desire to work, and made me not want to open an account with them, although at no point did he have any rude gestures like I've seen in other branches (of all kinds of banks).

This branch is pathetic... the service is terrible, they see you're lost and say nothing, you have to go and ask for help when you're desperate, and on top of that, there's no one to help you at the counter inside, you have to do everything yourself at this branch... the people who work there only know how to take money, not how to do anything else.

Only two people provide proper service. One employee doesn't know the answers and I don't think they're qualified to work with the public. This branch is getting worse and worse. August 2025: Office closed for vacation. I'm lowering the review to one star because there's no lower rating.
