This bank is a joke. I waited 25mins just to do a quick currency exchange just for them to tell me they can’t accept my $100 USD bill because someone previously wrote 2 letters on it. What a complete joke. Don’t come here.

There weren't many people around at noon, so it was done quickly.

I've been using my Taipei Fubon Bank account for over 30 years (Chang'an East Road branch and Xinzhuang branch). Today, because I need to go to National Taiwan University for a follow-up appointment, I came to this branch to handle the related fees for transferring property ownership (NT$130,000 per unit). Other branches used to help me fill out a remittance form and then let me confirm it, but this branch insisted I fill it out myself. Finally, I got angry and just opened a pre-arranged account so I can use the app to make the remittances later. The service is truly terrible.

Ms. Jiang at the counter was professional, friendly, patient, and provided excellent service. She didn't mind the complicated process at all, and was incredibly attentive and caring, going through the process again and again until the very last moment, until I successfully completed the digital account opening. I am so grateful!

I went to handle business today and was received by Mr. Zhuang and Ms. Jiang. Their service was very attentive and detailed. They explained the process in detail, which made me feel at ease and I believe that dealing with Fubon is trustworthy.
