First time visit. Overall waiting time is 1 hour. Understand different customer have difference issues, might need longer time for banker to revolve issue. Ms Ng was the good staff to provide me service. She is a pretty good staff which provide a humble, professional and efficient service. Talk with her I felt very nice. Definitely 10/10 service from her.

POSB AMK is a badly managed branch, and an epitome of DBS/POSB going backwards. They force people to queue standing including elderly who could go to the coffeeshop to rest seated. You cannot take a mobile Q number at this branch at all. Someone at this branch assumed that ALL elderly don’t own a mobile phone and are incapable. That is categorically untrue. Some elderly are sending voice messages to their children on WhatsApp, and others obviously can be educated to send an SMS to get a queue number. Not to mention there are people of all ages there who have to come to the branch for a reason that cannot be solved via ibanking. Even if you queue at the VTMs for a simple transaction it takes forever. Not because of the machine but because from the time the staff calls “override”, you basically wait 10-15 mins waiting inside the room of the VTM machine because the branch manager or assistant manager who has the authority to verify identity are nowhere to be found. I had the pleasure of meeting Alice Chua when I was at DBS AMK Branch, to enquire about opening an estate account for my late brother. Alice took the time to thoroughly explain the procedures and all related matters in great detail, ensuring that I understood every step. She also provided her name as well as those of two colleagues, for further reference. When I returned to the bank after almost a year later, I was fortunate that Alice was available. She not only remembered me but also recalled the specifics of my situation. I was truly impressed by her professionalism, as well as the care and empathy she demonstrated throughout the process. Thank you, Alice, for making the final closure of my late brother's estate so much more bearable. Your support and guidance provided comfort during a difficult time, and I am truly grateful for your help in bringing this matter to a good closure.

This review is for Ms Hafizah. I opened a joint account here and Ms Hafizah attended to me, she helped to open the account on the same day with my mum (but I had earlier made a reservation for the day). I had some issues with my own personal account and she said would help me reach out to higher office to clarify. After awhile (and i assume back and forth on her part with the dbs team), she called me as I requested (late afternoon) to inform me that my issue had been resolved. I just want to write this to commend Ms Hafizah for going above and beyond to rectify my issue. I had visited 2-3 branches before and asked for help previously regarding my account but on all time, got ignored. Ms Hafizah settled it for me outside her own working time which shows she cares for the banks' customers and definitely goes above and beyond the professional scope to help me. I am very grateful and I hope the bank rewards such excellent staff professional commitment! thanks.

I forgot the name of the woman, she was in her 50-60s. She has poor service, unprofessional attitude and her tone of voice. I was just observing her while she was entertaining other people. She was so pleasant and used nice tone of voice when talking to Chineses like her and other locals. I saw a Bangladeshi approached her, and I saw how she answered and entertained that poor guy differently. Very unprofessional, ugly attitude and the tone of voice. And when it was my turn, she also did the same. Maybe her treatment depends on how the person looks and who the person is. Me and the Bangladeshi guy are both foreign workers here. I went to this DBS branch to get a savings account and I'm from AMK as well. Actually, my colleague in the hospital recommended DBS. But now, I don't want already. Or maybe, I would go to other branches perhaps. So sad to feel this way. 😢😢
