My wife and I went there and lined up and my wife's name was put on a list, rather than given a number because she is not the holder of a singapore hand phone, an hour and a half later, after sitting there i approached the line management lady and she told me there was no record of my wife lining up, even though I saw her name on the list 90 minutes earlier. Eventually we got to the teller after waiting more and we got a teller named Shaun, who was the best employee you could ever have, he is worth more money, he was able to quickly and efficiently serve us, he deserves a pay rise.
I am very impressed with Mala and Liya for their dedication on assisting me with my Internet Banking and Giro application as I was traumatised by the non-payment from the other bank. However, both staffs able to resolve the situation efficiently with kindness and patience given by them. I am happy with their service whom works so hard to ensure my problem is solved. Thank you.
Update : In the end, I waited for more than 1.5 hrs before they sent me a msg to issue me a queue number. I asked the staff why the long wait to get a queue number. He said it's because there's only 8 people allowed in the queue system (?!) So the rest of us (including many old folks) will have to queue up to register mobile contact with the door staff on a long manual list which they are recording with pen & paper! Talk about using technology in a leading local bank. I personally think - it's more of meeting their KPIs rather than genuinely striving to improve customer service - as the long waiting time of customers prior to entering into their system queue is not recorded in their system. Long story short, I was served 2.5 hrs later, & spent a total of 4 hours in the bank today, & still unable to get the doc we requested due to their system limitation. Told to come back ard 2 weeks later to collect the doc. I'm dreading the comback already. ----------------------------------------- N
I was at DBS Bishan J8 branch this morning. There was already 15 customers in front of me and most of them are seniors made to stand as earlynas 8am (one of them shared). During this CNY period, DBS could take a leaf from Starhub whereby a staff could come around 8am and issue queue number to their sms so the customers can go and run other errands or have sonething to eat or even find a seat before their queue number is called. It will also reduce the crowds outside the bank esp the corridor. The queue can come in 2 types ie normal.customers and Treasures customers. Hope the above helps
Had a really good experience at this Bishan branch. Queue was long but service was quick snd efficient. 2 staff helped me with my cashiers order. Made a mistake on the payee and I got really anxious. The staff got to work immediately and got it all straightened out. Thankgoodness. Thank you do much!
