I went to get my name changed, but they said I couldn't do it without an appointment. I went after 2:30pm and was told they had a reservation starting at 3pm so they couldn't do it. The bank was empty. I don't understand why they couldn't help me even though there was time until my next appointment. Other banks will help you properly even if you go on the day. They explained how to do the procedure online, but at the end they said, "Well, I've never done it before, so I don't know." That's just too irresponsible. I recommend making a reservation when going to Resona Bank.

Because 1,000 yen and 10,000 yen bills look similar, my elderly parents often confuse them, so I give them all in 1,000 yen bills. However, this bank only allows exchange of 10,000 yen bills per withdrawal. When I asked the guide, I was told that if I wanted to exchange 100,000 yen, I would have to withdraw 10,000 yen bills ten times. It's a waste of time. By the way, Japan Post Bank allows this. The ATM only allowed 10,000 yen bills to be withdrawn at a time. Resona Bank has few teller counters and even fewer ATMs, so I feel that if I don't withdraw cash whenever I see one, I'll have trouble later. The ATM screens are dirty everywhere, so I'd like them to clean them.

The service from the staff was very unpleasant. I don't even want to give it a 1 star rating. I have an account here because my company payroll is deposited there, but if it weren't for that, I'd cancel.

It's the only bank that still has a counter in Kameido, so that's a relief.

There is an automatic passbook transfer machine in the ATM corner.
