Sparkasse Heidelberg - Branch 131 Hauptstraße Altstadt

Irrespective of many calls, I could'nt get in touch with the person who was responsible to attend my problem and yet after a month there was no solution. The bank is charging money from me for wrong delivery information although they send the primary documents to same address in the first place. I simply asked for a card activation pin along with a request to check for any upcoming deliveries on the address and I was told they can't help me anymore and wouldn't engage in a conversation to solve any issues. Losing money was also not a problem but they should understand the problems faced being and yet after repeated calls there was no solution except of you getting hanged up on the phone

I went there today to put some cash on my account, and I was asked where the money comes from. I knew that for any amount above 10000€ they’re allowed to ask, but anything less than that (and mine was significantly less) is a private matter and her questions made me feel uncomfortable. While the lady was asking me these personal questions instead of focusing on her job, she made a mistake and I had to spend more time there trying to correct it myself. I’m going to avoid this branch, even though the other employee who was trying to help me correcting the mistake she made was in fact very nice.

Beside the central location, very helpful staff, eager to help and with knowledge and patience. Exactly the staff you want to have at your bank when having an eargent issue, a question, or just you want advise!

I went to them to open an account (after being told to go elsewhere by a different Sparkasse branch who refused to talk to me in English), they provided me with an appointment for me to discuss my needs. Everything was provided to me in English. I had a bunch of questions and the gentleman helping me was extremely patient and friendly and guided me very politely. Even the cashier was so nice and spoke to me in English, because my German is really poor. Very friendly staff, very professional and very accommodating!

Frau Ates really helped me a lot! She made the process easy, smooth, transparent, and super fast! I am an international student who does not speak German but she was able to understand me and help me completely. I would recommend Sparkasse to anyone I know because of the friendly and timely help!
