Hong Leong Bank No. 8 & 10, Jalan 3/50C Off Jalan Genting Kelang

This is the worst experience I have had at a Hong Leong Bank branch. Upon entering the bank, I was approached by a security guard who did not properly ask or clarify the purpose of my visit. Instead, a queue number was given to me immediately. After waiting for almost one hour, I was informed by the teller that the service I required could not be performed at this branch. When I asked why I was not informed earlier, I was told that the person who attended me at the entrance was “just a guard” and did not have the necessary knowledge. This reflects a serious lack of coordination and customer service training. Additionally, the branch has insufficient seating, inadequate manpower at the counters, and staff at the front who are unable to provide basic guidance. As a result, I wasted a significant amount of time unnecessarily. The management should take these issues seriously and improve staff training, communication, and overall service efficiency.

I recently visited the Hong Leong Bank branch in Setapak to open a new account and had some questions. Puan Nor Aiza at Counter 6 assisted me with great patience and professionalism. She took the time to answer all my queries clearly, and I truly appreciate her courteous and helpful attitude. It was a pleasant customer service experience, and I would like to commend her for her excellent service.

I was assisted by Nor Azilah when I wanted to pledge an FD to open a credit card. She was very helpful, and I received my card within a few days. I’m very happy with the service and my experience!
