Alarm at this bank has been going off for a couple of days now since September. CIMB acknowledged that it has been reported but no one has come to check out the issue. The issue is that the shutters have been malfunctioning and go up and down every few minute between 5-10 minutes all throughout the night. Security guards has no power to do anything about it and just has to bear the whole ordeal. Calls have been made to the police consistently but yet the bank does nothing. With all the recent reviews of the place, not sure if management even wants to keep this place going.

Extremely disappointing experience with CIMB Jaya One branch. Both of my accounts were closed without any prior notice, and a cheque for the balance was simply sent to my address. When I approached CIMB Lukut branch to withdraw, I was told it could only be done at Jaya One. This forced me to take leave from work and drive almost 2 hours unnecessarily just to access my own funds. This shows a serious lack of customer communication, flexibility, and service consideration. A leading bank should allow cheque withdrawals at any branch and ensure customers are properly informed before account closures. The current process is unacceptable and caused me significant inconvenience and loss of time.

My account was blocked and I was told to go to this branch. For whatever reason other branch can't complete the process. So it turns out I need to update my passport. Alright sure thing I brought along my passport, the process was smooth, my account was unblocked, and guess what it was blocked again and I was told the same thing again. They forgot to update my passport on their actual database. So whatever form I filled in was only used to decorate their office I guess. I'm leaving this review because this happened TWICE! Makes sense if you forget once but TWICE AT THE SAME BRANCH?? LOLL I'll just use something else then...

Zero customer. Only one counter open. Waited 30 mins for staff to finish chitchat, drink coffee and have their snacks.

Had the worst experience of customer service that CIMB can have , counter only half working and customer service officer is not any friendly party and is more like a bouncer chasing customer away. To activate a company account it takes more than 10 days and the officer isn’t really another friendly officer as well . While checking with her she only told us that is HQ not their problem and do not even wants to entertain further
