There were three ATMs at this location: one was out of service, another only accepted deposits, and the last one was for withdrawals. The withdrawal machine ATE MY ATM card. I’m not a local, so for the rest of my trip I had to survive WITHOUT a physical card to make payments. I had to call the main bank to cancel the card. How was I supposed to do that when I still had a few more days in Malaysia and that was my only card for international transactions?
