I recently visited a BMO branch and unfortunately, my experience with customer service left much to be desired. The overall impression was that staff members were working in a very system-driven manner, with little focus on efficiency or customer care. At times, it even seemed as though the priority was to extend the service time rather than resolve the client’s needs promptly. My specific request was to make an international transfer. I had clarified beforehand that I intended to use my credit card for this transaction, and was initially told that it would be fine. However, after some time, I was informed that the transfer could not be processed with a credit card and that funds had to come from my checking account. To complicate matters further, I was advised to return the next day because it was already considered too late in the day to complete the service, and my checking account did not have sufficient funds at that moment. I am writing to formally complain about an unsatisfactory experience I had at your branch about two to three weeks ago. I visited the Bank of Montreal with a colleague, and we interacted with an employee named Erin. Unfortunately, I found Erin's behavior to be quite disrespectful. While discussing a line of credit, her responses were dismissive and lacked the professionalism I expected. Additionally, I felt that I was being judged based on my appearance, which is unacceptable. I believe that all customers deserve respectful and professional service, and I hope that this feedback will help improve the experience for future clients. I had an appointment with Bank of Montreal last week, and I was assisted by an employee named Erin tran Unfortunately, I found her to be quite aggressive and disrespectful. She didn't listen to my concerns and didn't provide the assistance I needed. Because of this experience, I've decided not to return to that bank.

I had a very disappointing experience with an employee named Amir at the BMO Sunridge branch. He was disrespectful, unhelpful, and lacked basic customer service skills. I left the branch feeling completely frustrated and undervalued as a client, I expected a much higher level of professionalism from a bank like BMO. Unless the service improves, I would not recommend dealing with this branch

Fatima will ask you to read out loud very sensitive information like your social insurance number for verification purposes in a busy bank. I have no problem with verifying my identity but when you refuse to serve me because I am hesitant then your customer service is very poor. She has a big ego for no reason and will talk down to customers. Never had such a poor experience at any bank before. I did end up filing a complaint online but I expect nothing to come of it. Hopefully her attitude improves in the future.
