Went into Co-operative Bank Wood Green branch for the first time today and was so impressed with the personal service. Was seen by Mark who dealt with my query with minimal fuss and was sorted within minutes. Was also briefly served by the lady on the counter who cleared the queue quickly and efficiently and she was so friendly. Regret not asking for her name so I could mention here. Hope Co-op realise what an asset this branch is.

Most of the staff that know me are fine. But some new staff when I enter the building with my mother, look at me like I am coercing an old lady out of her money and often ask strange questions like "are you with this lady" after they have seen us walk in together. Cultural competency is lacking with some members of staff. The general service face-to-face is good, but phoning the branch is always an issue. No one picks up the phone and the holding times are usually extremely long. The credit card always gives me problems so I've stopped using it. My mother has banked with this service for such a long time that it actually upsets me to think that this service has actually declined rather than improved.

I had a very unprofessional experience with Co-op bank Wood Green branch. I went into branch at the beginning of December to book an appointment with a personal banker, the earliest date they had was today 18th Jan 2025. I went into bank this morning to find that the one personal banker was not in today. I waited 20 minutes to be seen, to then being told that they can't help me. None called or left a message to let me know that the personal banker wasn't in today and I spent 8£ travelling into branch. Extremely unhappy as I waited over a month for this appointment. I will not be banking with this Co-Op moving forward.
