This is one of the most beautiful and elegant buildings in Montreal. This is the place where the banking began in Canada in the 19th-century. The building has been kept is a wonderful condition and it still functions as a bank. When you visit, don't miss the small museum on site.

We stopped in Montreal for half day to see the Basilica and other historic sites. We parked in a garage in a building facing the Basilica. Walking around, we decided to visit the BMO. It is a magnificent building on the outside and pretty spectacular on the inside. Really a nice experience.
