BMO is the worst corporate bank I've ever had the displeasure of being a client of. Their customer service is the absolute worst - they will send you an email saying everything is great and two hours later send you one saying your account is behind. No sense at all in their communication - if you can't even manage communication, why on earth would I trust you?

Avoid this place at all costs. The customer service is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I got a Porter Master Card and have had nonstop problems. I’ve called many times for help, but no one seems to understand how the card works. Every time I ask for a supervisor, they either hang up or promise to call back—but never do. I even tried their so-called escalation process, but it was just as bad. I waited on hold for over an hour and still didn’t get my issue resolved. I posted a review before and got a reply from BMO asking me to email a specific address. I did, but no one ever followed up. Now, my original Google review is gone for some reason. Meanwhile, BMO continues to give poor service. My wife and I still have a World Elite credit card, but we’re not receiving the proper benefits. At this point, the only thing left to do is cancel. Porter really needs to partner with a better company.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Lincoln Friedman at your BMO branch today to explore how best to assist my mom. Despite being earlier in his career, Lincoln is a knowledgeable and brilliant ambassador for your brand. His thoughtful professionalism, active listening, and deep understanding of my mom’s needs, combined with exceptional customer service, surpassed any banking experience I’ve had in nearly all my decades with other banks. Thank you so much for having Lincoln on your team. His excellent service made all the difference! As well, the associate who greeted me upon my 10 am arrival today was also wonderful. She was professionally courteous, welcoming and ensured I was taken care from the moment of my arrival. You have an impressive team.

Worst customer service. One of the girls at the desk had really bad communication skills and was being passive aggressive - unclear in communicating what she wanted to know and expected the customer to know everything about their services. I would give negative stars if I could.

I went with a friend there and had an excellent experience, thanks to Lincoln Friedman! He explained everything simply and even stayed 30 min after the closing time!! We were so embarrassed because we didn't know he didn't even make us feel that we have to harry up or unwelcomed for a sec 🙏 Im so thankful for this level of service in Montreal
