I'd been there to try and get a current a/c opened for my start up. The branch manager is very unprofessional. Here's my ordeal - While at the branch, I was told to submit a cheque for intial account opening. When I mentioned that I was not carrying my cheque book, he said it was alright to make the payment as cash. I then clearly saw him walk up to his staff and give instructions to collect cash payment for the intiial account opening. All of this done and the paperwork submitted, I left the branch and was promised a site visit by the branch manager that same evening. He gave me an appointment for a site visit at a certain time and did not show up at that time or bother to call and tell me that he wouldn't be coming. This happened twice (the next day as well) and I ended up wasting my time for 2 days thanks to this. He then claimed that he was unaware of the fact that I had paid cash.
