I had a very poor experience with Doha Bank when processing my personal loan. From the start, the process lacked professionalism — everything was handled verbally or through WhatsApp messages instead of proper email communication or official documentation. Even after I had already settled and cancelled my CBQ credit card on my own, Doha Bank still went ahead and deducted QAR 12,400 from my loan as a liability settlement, despite me clearly instructing them not to. That amount has not even reached CBQ, leaving me stuck and stressed. While I understand their policy of freezing accounts until the first salary transfer, the way my case was handled was unprofessional and disappointing. I moved from CBQ to Doha Bank expecting better service and benefits, but I regret the decision — the service has been frustrating and not up to the standards one would expect from a major bank. Doha Bank urgently needs to improve its customer handling, transparency, and communication.
They make you wait outside and then again there's token and another que on the inside of the bank. But after using the token machine, if you want to use sanitizer, not even 1 bottle is not provided anywhere. The worst.
Subject: Extremely Dissatisfactory Banking Experience at Doha Bank, Souq Waqif Branch Most disappointing and frustrating experiences I have ever had at a bank. I recently visited your Souq Waqif branch on July 2nd, where I interacted with an Arabic-speaking lady in customer service who assured me that she would email me the details I needed to access my online banking account after completing my transaction. However, it is now July 15th—over two weeks later—and I still have not received anything from her. I waited for over two hours at the branch that day, and since then, I have made numerous calls and followed up every single day, but the issue remains unresolved. The ultimate resolution provided was that I would need to revisit the branch to get the issue sorted, meaning I will have to repeat the entire process from scratch. This has been a huge inconvenience, not only because I am forced to take time out of my day again, but also because it was entirely avoidable had the represen

One of the worst banking experience ever, forget the sales team gave wrong information , for I raised a complain against the sales person and his line manager, forget I want to close my account and Doha bank does not care. I came 26/06/2025 to close the account and withdraw my money at the HEAD OFFICE, there is only two freakin tellers at the freakin head office?!?!?!? My grocery shop has more . So happy closing my account at this horrible bank.
