Today, we had a disappointing experience at the QIB branch in Salwa. An Egyptian employee at the token counter treated us very poorly. Despite Qatar being a wonderful country with incredible people who treat everyone equally, this individual’s behavior was unacceptable. When we arrived to open a savings account, he asked intrusive questions about my salary, and he responded with an insulting smile and say may be 5 or 6K. and asked if I had enough money to open an account, which required 20K QAR. To our dismay, he then told my wife that she had to stay outside or go to the ladies' section, even though there were already women inside(customers). It felt as though he was judging us based on our nationality since we are not Arab. I am a manager at a reputable company, and my wife is a lawyer. We approached the bank with good intentions, but this uneducated individual’s discriminatory attitude was disappointing. It’s this kind of behavior that can tarnish the bank's reputation and reflect

One of the worst branches, or bank branches in Qatar, not only they have poor choices of words when thry deal with costumers, but also lack good attitude and awareness of someone's feeling. After what happened today with my one of my parents, i refuse to deal with such a bank anymore, it might be a bank, but has no morals or attitude of being Islamic.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The service was fast and good. The place decor was nice and atmosphere is very inviting. They also include a table for small kids in the ladies section which is very helpful for busy moms. Great service from this branch.
