There is no word tgat describes how bad, slow, and useless the bedaya account it for students from outside. No clear instructions on what to bring as documents to open an account. If you try to open one, you need a salary certificate. Of course, every student works and has one... If you want to bring a relative's salary certificate because you're a student and don't have one, of course they tell you we'll ask mamagement because there is no manager within the branch, but after two months without any notice through SMS (because it's a new technology that we still don't know how to use) your request is rejected and the only way to know is through going there physically because they don't have a contact number for the branch (Again, this is new technology that we're not familiar with from 20 years). An Islamic bank shouldn't be just Islamic in finance, but in ethics, customer service, and many other aspects. Don't even try to open a bedaya account here nor anywhere in QIB, you'll waste m
If only I could give 0 stars, I would. Opening a Student Bedaya Card here is almost impossible. Went to this branch with my mom, hoping to get my debit card. Then they asked for unnecessary information like 3-6 months bank statements and marriage certificate of my parents and even my birth certificate, which wasn't in the requirements in text, app and website. The staff was rude and unprofessional, gaslighting me that it's MY FAULT for not knowing the requirements and it seemed like they were discriminating my nationality, as mentioned in other reviews as well! They were confusing, asking me my age (I'm 21) then saying I don't need a sponsor but then couldn't give me one since they need bank statements from both parents. Then asking my mom directly for marriage and birth certificate to confirm I'M HER DAUGHTER (which can easily be proven in the QID). They also said we could've gotten the bank statements in that same day and we explained that we couldn't get it because it was already p
This is the worst bank ever. Please never open an account here. i made an account online and then got a message to visit this branch with my passport, qid and student id to fully activate my account. i took all these things and went to the tawar mall branch and the emloyee tells me she also needs my fathers back account records from the past 6 months. i then visited again with my fathers bank account information and the employee asks me for my salary certificate. i told i am making a student account and that i dont have a job. he told me i cant open a bank account without the salary certificate. i am not sure why i was not told about these requirements before. i think the people that work here are not trained at all. they have no idea what they are doing. stupidest people i have ever met. oh and on top of all of this they were so rude to me. please avoid this bank like the plague. My family and friends had the same experience.
Tried to open a student account and had the worst experience ever in all my life. During my first visit, the condescending teller informed me that I needed either a proof of income or my sponsor’s (my husband’s) six-month bank statement to proceed with activating my student account, although this was not mentioned as requirements online or by the call centre. On my return visit with the required proof of income, he not only questioned my eligibility but suggested that I open an account meant for housemaids and blue-collar workers. This was highly offensive and irrelevant, as it reflects discriminatory assumptions solely on the basis of my nationality. Despite this, the teller proceeded to process my papers but repeatedly insisted that the application would not be approved due to my employment status. Costumer service is worst I don’t know why giving such wrong information they have to send me in different branches just to reopen account from dfc branch to tawar mall branch and send again to shaniya branch and again to bares which is I waste all my time just to wait in the line saying that I cannot open their because only government workers only can open to their branch is this a discrimination why ?
