This Wells Fargo branch has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. The customer service is awful—long wait times, unhelpful staff, and a clear lack of respect for their customers. On multiple occasions, I’ve witnessed clear bias in how different customers are treated, with certain individuals facing unnecessary scrutiny and hurdles while others sail through. It’s unacceptable in this day and age, and the management seems completely indifferent. If you’re looking for a fair and professional banking experience, go somewhere else
I want to take time to thank Armando Ramos for taking time to help me. It was time consuming and he demonstrated nothing but patience and a willingness to help. You’re awesome bud. I’d also like to thank Mouhammadou Towe for having a great attitude. Great customer service seems to be a dying art so it’s refreshing to have a good experience. Only suggestion for branch is work on locking the ATM door at street level. I went after hours and had an awkward experience with a homeless woman. Makes it uncomfortable o handle money when they have someone sleeping there. Anyways, keep up the great work. Stay amazing. R
Branch manager acts a bit stuck up. The young Hispanic female banker looked at me like I was slow cause I had trouble opening the sliding door, she was giving me disgusting facial expressions. Only the two tellers were nice, thus the 3 stars. Every one else had the typical NYC attitude once they have a nice job they treat everyone else beneath them. Only in NYC do I experience this type of behavior in many places. I will stick with my banking anywhere else but Manhattan.
Absolutely terrible branch. They went out of their way not to help. Wells Fargo has to do a deep dive into this Branch because how awful the staff is. Everyone especially the manager should be fired
Banker turned me down, saying opening a new account would cost him 1 hour minimum and he would not accept me unless I made an appointment at least one day ahead. I understand Wells Fargo is understaffed and run badly in NYC, but I never anticipated such outright refusal to accept a new client. Worst bank I ever experienced, period.
