I’m shocked to read how long this branch manager has been employed - based on these reviews it would appear over 2 years!! He must be someone’s cousin and thus protected from the usual level of service and competence required of chase employees. He is unbelievably rude and has no business being in a customer facing role - definitely more back of house. I have filed a formal complaint and hopefully with enough complaints someone will finally take notice.

Review of Chase Branch at The Oculus. Today I visited the Chase branch at The Oculus (inside Westfield World Trade Center) because it’s the most convenient option—especially in this cold, windy weather. I specifically went to the branch instead of using the machines near the MTA area because I needed cash in a specific denomination (hundreds). Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, two Chase employees were talking. I walked to the counter for assistance, and one of them asked what I needed. After I explained, he simply told me to use the machines. I tried, but the machines only dispense $20s, $10s, $5s, and $1s—exactly why I needed help from a teller in the first place. I went back to explain the issue, but neither employee seemed to care or offer any solution. Their lack of interest was obvious, so I decided to leave. Only when they saw me walking out did one of them finally go to check the machine, but at that point it was too late—I no longer felt h

Lack of professionalism, and not a good branch at all, save yourself to trouble and just wait for them to shut down and build a better branch

This branch really needs to hire more professional staff because the 2 men, one Latino and the other an African American man, who I was shocked to hear was the Branch Manager. He was so rude and nasty and confrontational. The Latino guy was just as bad. As I approached the counter he said 'give me minute'. Not 'hello, welcome, I'lll be with your shortly' -- no he wasn't that civilized. They both really need an intensive course in Customer Service. So while I waited for what was more an a minute, another customer came, a Caucasion.man, and the AA sorry excused for a manager, ignored me and proceeded to help this man. I told him 'you saw me waiting'. The Manager's reply was 'well I saw you sitting'. This guy was so nasty and disrespectful that I have no words. I reported the Latino man and the AA manager. So I decided to leave and come back later, only to stand on the line while this AA manager ignored me once again. When it was finally my turn at the cashier window, I was explaining to
