I had a terrible experience at this chase. why do you use an appointment based system if you dont hold yourself to that timely standard? not only did my appontment start 20 minutes late, it was not with the person I made the appointment with. This might sound shallow, but I specifically booked an appointment with the one person who had helped me before, and he even called the day before the appointment to ensure that I was ready. I had a few specific banking inquiries and he mentioned on the phone he would do some research to be prepared to help me in anyway he could. the long and short is, I changed my name, and the woman who came up to me 20 minutes after my start time had no issues saying my deadname back to me. she told me he was busy and that someone else would meet with me. truly a terrible experience and I didnt even get to the appointment yet. to sum THAT up, I was told there is nothing they can do to help either of my situations. he suggested googling to find the answer. gu
The Chase Bank on Bowery and 2nd Avenue is a neat, clean, tidy, well kept and quiet. The branch is centrally located in the East Village. The service here is one of the best Chase have to offer. The teller, (yes, 1 teller at 1:30pm) was very attentive and service oriented. Did our business and out the door within 5 minutes.
I need to come here weekly to deposit and every week it’s the same thing. One, maybe two tellers and several other employees wandering about who won’t help with the line to save their lives. There’s obviously enough staff here, no one can be bothered. Sometimes there’s 10 people in line, and the other employee will sit in the cubicles and not even care. It’s really frustrating to see all the time and honestly ridiculous.
The manager at the Bank was great! Back-office people are terrible.
Old lady who works there call the police on a guy who was taking out money just because she though he was a homeless person trying to stay there but I actually saw him take out money from the ATM, then proceed to tell people who wasn’t using any of the ATMs that they were not allow to stay, I saw the whole scene as I was using one of the ATMs but it’s kind of cruel to kick everyone out as it was 26 degrees Fahrenheit out there, people were just there to warm up.
