Chase Bank 201 East 79th Street Manhattan

THIS BRANCH will start with a NO when you need help. Walked in just before 4:30pm - i asked the first person sitting in the cubicle if i could get some help with opening a business account. Without even a half a second the answer was not enough time (45mins she said) to finish by 5pm and come back tomorrow. I asked this business actually had a chase acct and would take less time. She said the system shuts down at 5PM! - which i knew was NOT TRUE. I know the branch closes at 5pm but it wasn’t my first time opening a business bank account / which may take not that long… She didn’t even bother to get up/ out of her cubicle and i knew my business didn’t really matter here. I ran over to another branch closest one on 79th and Madison and the manager in the front asked what brought me there today and did say it takes about 45mins with some clients already waiting but was willing to take my business documents and helped with opening the account without getting annoyed. I don’t know how exactly call this people who had no idea what they doing in positions they was hire. This person being Rude and unprofessional. She refused to do Transaction for me without using my account with I’m doing pretty well with my business when I need it, there is fee for that and I said I well aware that and I was agreed to pay that She still want to go trough my account with I asked not too. I hope she get job where she Find her peace but definitely it can not be something Required speak to people !!! Shame on chase bank to have that bad costumer service!

More and more, Chase does Less and less. Latest is they no longer will accept matured US Bonds for deposit unless No bond is more than $100 and total of all is Less than $500. Refused and denied even though I have high balances with Chase. Even the Treasury did Not know of extreme limitations. This reduction in by Chase in its services is only the latest elimination that I learned of— there have been many others. Plus there are almost always lines at this branch. Sometimes absurdly long and slow.

THE BEST OF BEST!! It's friendly and wonderful branch. I visited Chase Bank to open a checking account as a new customer. Previously, I heard a lot of rumors that Chase Bank was unfriendly and difficult to open an account. But my prejudice is completely broken today! Hanzel helped me open my account and gave me most of the information about the account in detail. One on one for an hour. He is really professional and friendly. He gave me a perfect customer experience for Chase Bank. Thank you so much!!
