Absa as a whole is the worst bank to deal with. They deceive you into opening an account - to make their sales target & their customer service is next to none existent. I highly recommend NOT using this ridiculously expensive bank EVER.

Having a terrible experience. I've been having a problem with my account and it has taken over 5 weeks now and it still hasn't been resolved yet. I have to continuously go into that specific branch to solve my problem. I've been so patient and calm with everything. Now it seems that they are taking advantage of my kind nature.

Simply not answering their phones rang on for 12 mins and I had to hang up. Disgusting for a major bank to not answer their phones.

Excellent service from Charlaine, who went beyond the call of duty to make sure my client, who was purchasing a vehicle was sorted out, even after hours, she made sure I had the POP and the customer had his bank card, I was truly impressed by Charlaine and her work, closing time was at 12:00, we got there 3 minutes before closing and left at half 1 after everything was sorted and she was happy that we were happy. Really a great worker and highly recommend her service. WELL DONE TO YOU Charlaine ( or Charmaine, can't remember now, LOL)
