It is very abundantly clear that the respentatives have no idea of the correct procedures for my enquiry. Everytime i call i get a different department\email address to call\email my query and I get a different answer for the same question.
I arrived at 6AM on a Sunday and I was able to exchange USD to ZAR without a problem. The lady even helped me to get the bills in the denominations I wanted.
Excellent and quick service! I ordered UK pounds telephonically from Lizette on the 1st July and collected it on the 4th July at 4pm from friendly cashier Colin Cook. I was even phoned an hour later by another friendly ABSA employee to enquire whether everything was in order! The excellent service by this branch is highly appreciated! They are strongly recommended!!
Slow and ponderous during a pandemic. Hurry up. Your cantankerous staff are endangering our lives.
Stay away from the absa ATMs. Tourist rip-off. Absa does not only charge for withdrawals (that other banks do as well) but also if you decline the transaction. I had to pay 78 ZAR (5 Euro) - for nothing.
