Disappointed by the lack of technical knowledge at this branch. I visited to resolve why I am not receiving any spending notifications despite activating everything in my account, only to be asked for 'proof' of these missing alerts (which is impossible to provide). Being advised to simply report fraud after it occurs ignores the proactive security standards of modern banking. It would have been more professional to simply state that the service isn't offered by Bendigo Bank, rather than dismissing valid concerns about account security.

After getting royally shafted by CBA, i opened accounts here for my new business. The staff were nothing but pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. The whole process was done in short order and 6 months later i called to enquire how to change a couple of things in my banking procedures, only for the staff member i was talking to offer to do it for me than and there. Can't fault the service at all, they are great.

The staff and Manager at Bendigo Bank Carrum Downs are lovely!! It is so nice to go to a bank with real people who can be relied upon to do their job properly and that they will take the time to know your name. The fact that they donate so much money back into the local community is the reason I Bank their in the first place.

Well walked in this morning to open 2 accounts just to learn from one of the staff that I need an appointment to do it. Means I need to go away and then find another time to do that simple thing. By the way, 4 staff behind the counter and I was THE ONLY customer… Left speechless. Came home and opened online in 15 minutes. So the next time someone is crying that branch is closing don’t blame technology only but maybe staff who not capable of servicing the walk in customer. Won’t be sorry to see that branch closed.
