I had a very disappointing experience at this branch a few weeks back. Only one teller was available, and the wait time was over 20 minutes with just three people ahead of me. While waiting, I witnessed a distressing situation involving a disabled woman who couldn’t speak and had lost her mobile phone, making it difficult to access her account. Despite the bank’s claims of being inclusive and accessible, staff struggled to communicate effectively with her. She had to repeat her issue multiple times to different staff members, and it was clear there was a lack of training in handling accessibility needs. When I finally got to the counter to inquire about opening a joint account, I was met with a condescending attitude. I was told that after passing identity verification (a standard KYC process), the bank would then assess how much “business” I could bring before allowing me to open an account. Apparently, unless I moved my salary to be banked with them, opening a joint account wasn’t

Process of opening account was drawn out. The staff could not clearly articulate what documentation was needed. It should have taken 2 trips max, but ended up taking 4. Edit: A simple change of a signatory of an account is still not resolved. This has a resulted in a privacy breach and mail sent to another client. Westpac have been completely unapologetic and sluggish to rectify this issue.

Very disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow with only one staff member working, which caused a long wait. I was running out of time on my parking ticket, and my issue was still not resolved. No one seemed to take responsibility or assist me properly. Really disappointed with the lack of customer care.

Went in for a new eftpos card which was easily sorted out. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. 9.30am today.

Very poor service I visited them to open joint account. They said I have to move my banks to their otherwise they cannot open my bank account.
