Today I received such amazing customer service from this branch today. I was blown away with how they were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my query was resolved before I left and that I was informed of their other range of services. I've banked with ASB for years because they always have made sure I have been well informed about their range of services and best options whether it has been for a credit card, home loan, or even KiwiSaver. We applied for a Kiwi Saver Scheme online and they asked to visit the branch with all documents they need to process. After waiting a few weeks, we received a notification that we needed to back the brand again! How comes? It does not make any senses in the digital ages with a large bank like ASB! Totally disappointed!

It's more than 15mths since my partner & I found just how low that ASB as a merchant bank can sink to , when it comes to customer/client service goes. But bad feelings about a big corporate the likes of ASB are not easily erased and others need to know how. We began our experience with ASB more than 23 years ago...When we started out in business they were all over us like a rash, trying to be helpful....and they were. We had regular meetings with ASB staff...they visited us in the business we had, and we had a practical and useful relationship. I'm not exactly sure when it all started to go bad. Certainly they supported us during COVID , but it was when we decided to sell our business, pay back our mortgages and generally close off the operating company that it all went bad. At the time we had a healthy balance in our main trading account , and likewise in our savings account. Up to the modern time services , with the high attention to the customer needs. Came over there with the mobile banking problem . After fixing it , got a set up for mobile paywave. Also got some changes on my saving account for a higher rate , and received many clever advices how to save money using banking overseas ! Very intelligent staff ! Thanks Sarah

0star for the asian lady who knows nothing, she required both of my passport and visa for activing my card which i only need to do it online or though my phone. 5 stars for the lady with curly hair . she is helpful and efficient. I really hope asb can provides proper training for new staffs.
