I had a very disappointing experience with CIMB Bank when trying to open a new account. The customer service was unprofessional and inefficient. Account opening could not be done efficiently due to their malfunctioning machine, and I had to fill out multiple pages of manual forms. The activation of Octo Mobile also took a long time. Customer service representative Nensi was very unfriendly and appeared confused.
Great service! I visited here since I had an issue with their banking services due to a very newly implemented policy. I was a bit worried that they'll pull the 'oh dear we don't know about this, the head office didn't inform us about it' but thankfully my worries were unfounded. However, do note that I didn''t visit the bank tellers unlike the majority of the reviewers here; my business was strictly with their relationship officer, so I don't know whether the slow processes were definitely a common problem there.
Went here 2 times, both were not satisfying. Security officers were kind, CS was okay, but Preferred service is way behind the standard. RM could be more friendlier handling customers
