BBVA 7235 Carrera 9 La Porciúncula

I would strongly recommend against taking out a credit card with BBVA. I have spent three days trying to cancel my credit card after three years as I am leaving the country and it isn't possible to get any confirmation that it has been cancelled. I am fairly sure their systems are broken to the point you are passed around on the phones in an endless circle if you try to confirm the closure of the account. It's definitely not legal but the question is whether it's down to incompetence or some sort of insane management decision to prevent customers from leaving. Either way who knows, perhaps I'll always be an unwilling customer at this awful bank. Don't be like me.

The service is AWFUL. I took a number at 9:50 a.m. An hour and a half later, they had only moved five people forward. There were four service windows, and the advisors were doing nothing, just on their phones, catching up on their weekend updates. Etc. It's terrible that they waste one's time like that. Everything was wrong.

I don't recommend BBVA Colombia. Everything is incredibly slow, and if something can go wrong, it will; resolution takes weeks. They somehow forget about your case, and you end up wasting time at their offices constantly... but they'll finally improve their app; before, it seemed like it was created in 2010 and never updated.

Terrible customer service, they take forever and then give you bad information. They should hire more staff to provide better service. I hope they improve.

I am very grateful to advisor Brian Parra, an excellent professional who is very knowledgeable about the bank's processes, and his service was very kind and friendly.
