NDB Bank - Panadura 319 Galle Road Panadura

I recently visited the Panadura branch of NDB Bank and was disappointed with the service I received from the Assistant Manager. The initial customer welcome was lacking, and the interaction felt unapproachable. Furthermore, I felt that decisions were made on my behalf without allowing me to clearly express my own preferences. This approach made the experience unpleasant and did not meet the level of customer service I expect from a reputed financial institution. I hope the management can address this and ensure a more customer-friendly and respectful service in the future.

Worst bank ever. I had to visit several times in person just to update my phone number, yet they still didn’t do it. It’s a very simple task, but they failed repeatedly. The staff is highly irresponsible and lacks even basic customer courtesy—they didn’t even apologize for their misbehavior. The manager is equally responsible for allowing such low-quality service. Even the security staff don’t know how to speak to customers properly. To make things worse, they don’t even answer the phone, even when it’s clearly ringing. Do not use this branch—you will be annoyed by the management. Fortunately, not all NDB Bank branches are like this. There are other branches with good, friendly, and highly responsive staff. Go to one of those instead!

Its my pleasure to write this review, service and the assistant that I am experiencing from NDB Panadura is remarkable. I do operate all my businesses and personal accounts with NDB Pandura since two years and service i received from them not allowed me to open any other account in another bank.

Most screwed up branch from entire NDB group. Customer service is nil. From FD rates they gives the lowest from all the branches. Staff is not helpful at all, specially to check another service (credit card) internally, they put it on customer and tell us to call card center and check. Lodged a complain also requesting to transfer my portfolio to a different branch, but not even an answer for that.

Worse NDB branch ever. When the interest rates for FD's are booming in the entire country panadura branch always gives us a really low interest rate for my Husbands FD. I also have some FDs in the same bank but opened in a different branch which offered me a higher interest rate ( honestly confused how there is a 8% difference in interest rates when the capital is the same) . It's really confusing and frustrating to see such things are happening at a bank. When we inquire the reason from the manager in the panadura branch they said it depends on the relationship we have with the manager so I'm wondering to get a higher rate what kind of a relationship we should have. It's very frustrating and shameful to see such idiotic people who doesn't know how to do their job are in this managerial seats and how they are so reluctant to pass the benefit of the higher interest rates in the country to the customers.
