We went to open an account for my wife. After waiting 15 mins a lady sat down. One of the first things she said was “we only work with appointments”, it set the tone for the rest of the conversation. She didn’t ask my wife what country she is from or why she needs a bank. Just “what documents do you have”. Of course she did not want to open us an account, that was clear from the beginning. At first I thought she was rather rude and maybe xenophobic, but after reading some of the other comments I think we got a good treatment. This branch really seems to have many issues with their customer service. It is tbh always a problem at Polish banks, but at least they take the time to ask where you are from. I have been to Pekao and Millenium to open a bank last year and was able to open an account the same day without problems. I will return to Pekao instead to open my wife’s account as well. I was at this branch at Puławska at about 14:30 today, I asked the manager if I could get a statement about my account. She replied the system is down in the whole bank, and that it stopped working at all branches and she does not know if it will work today. I felt like she was lying and walked 30 minutes to another branch to see if I can get the statement there. The system working all right and I got what I needed! I wonder if there really were problems with the system (and it got back to normal in 30 minutes while I was walking) OR the manager decides who she wants to serve and who she does not? If it’s the latter I find this behaviour disgusting.

They're fraudulent. Last year, I relocated from Poland to the US. I maintained an account with approximately 1000zl in ING Poland for managing bills and taxes. Upon updating my address to my current US residence, they inexplicably closed my account, leaving me unable to log in. Despite my attempts to reach out via email, I received no response. My hope is that they check bad reviews in Google. I've been using ING for 7 years and this is the price you pay for loyalty. I've spent hours trying to resolve this issue already.
