I have just experienced a very unpleasant encounter at the bank. I wanted to show a suspect scam 7page letter addressed to my daughter at my address. She has never had an account with BNP. Yesterday I spoke to a friendly BNP advisor by telephone who encouraged me to visit my bank with the letter. I rang the bell and the employee arrived, kept his foot in the door and refused my entrance despite the fact that the bank was open to clients (I have been one for many years.) He suggested my daughter had forgotten she had an account with BNP!! and said the letter had come from BNP, (despite the spelling faults, etc). No help whatsoever. Bring back the friendly bank manager!!

Following the sale of my home, I requested to cancel my home insurance policy. They told me I had to send a copy of the deed of sale or a certificate from the notary, even though I'd already taken out insurance with them for my new home! This administrative hassle is ridiculous, especially since I've been a customer for decades! It's shameful!
