No cash machine. This is the only bank brand in Belgium that works with Bank of America with no fees and they don’t have a cash machine. Useless.

The largest BNP Paribas Fortis branch in Antwerp, once a particularly busy office in a historic location. Currently, visits are by appointment only for insurance, investments, and other banking matters requiring an advisor. BNP focuses entirely on telephone and digital communication with its customers, which not everyone appreciates. This branch no longer even has ATMs. As of 2024, regular customers will no longer be able to use this branch for basic banking services. They will be redirected to the acquired Bpost bank in the existing post offices. BNP bank customers will therefore have to queue alongside people buying stamps.

Antwerp, Wapper No. 6. A neoclassical house built in the late 19th century, currently the headquarters of a BNP Paribas Fortis branch. The building has a rectangular plan, a basement, and three stories. The front elevation of the building has five bays and is divided into three sections. The central section, in the form of a pseudo-risalit, has three bays, topped by a triangular tympanum, accentuated by a balcony beneath which the entrance gate is located. The plastered facade is divided by pilasters covered with belt rustication, with a prominent base containing the basement windows.

One star is already too much; this bank is miserable in every respect, according to my experience and what I read.
