It works so far.
I've been trying for several days to obtain a corrected version of my home insurance policy with rent default coverage, which I took out through Bankinter. Despite making several requests, I haven't received clear information or the necessary correction to the policy, and the documentation provided by Bankinter doesn't match the issued policy. Telephone verification isn't working, and emails simply refer me back to the phone, even though policy corrections should be handled in writing, not over the phone. Since the property needs to be rented soon, this delay is already causing me financial losses. I hope Bankinter can resolve this situation professionally and as quickly as possible.
Absolutely deplorable banking. They never answer the phone. I've been calling for two days, and after more than seven calls and being on hold for 20 minutes, they hang up on me. They've blocked my account for no reason, I can't access it, and they tell me my phone number ends in 607 (I've never had a number like that). I had to call the fraud department, and they say they're unhelpful, not even providing me with the information to find out what's going on, even though I've identified myself. Furthermore, when making certain transfers, they don't even give you the option to cancel them immediately, and they charge a fee. Not to mention making purchases and withdrawing money abroad. In short, go to any of the other banks in Alicante. If they'd even deign to answer the phone, they're already a better bank than this one.
It was awful. I went to register to open a digital account, as explained on their website, and the woman who helped me refused to verify my identity because, according to her, branches don't offer that service (I should mention that Bankinter online recommends visiting a branch for verification). Besides refusing to verify my identity, she started trying to sell me other banking products I wasn't interested in, and also tried to convince me not to open their digital account because the interest rates would drop at any moment and the account wasn't trustworthy. In short, it was a complete mess. I went to sign up for a product from their bank and practically left empty-handed because of the incompetence of the woman who helped me. It was insane.
Horrible bank... The treatment I received at this branch was horrible. The immediate transfers were horrible (WHICH ARE NOT IMMEDIATE, THEY TAKE MORE THAN 1 HOUR). This bank is very old-fashioned with the damned coordinate cards. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.
