I read online that Bankinter had reasonable atm charges for overseas customers. So made a fair walk to use their atm specifically to then be presented with a €6 charge. Which is outrageous.

They're trying to make everything online, but none of their digital services are working properly. Sending your ID through the app: "An error has occurred." Sending a transfer: "An error has occurred." Receiving a code: "An error has occurred." Paying by card: "An error has occurred." Speak with a manager? Hopefully, they'll be able to contact you next month.

I've been with this bank and at this branch for two years. During this time, I haven't received friendly treatment from the employees; instead, I've encountered a lot of negativity and little empathy. They offer no solutions, options, or recommendations. I plan to close my account and switch to another bank. I wouldn't recommend this institution to anyone.

Carla was very kind and helpful. She resolved the issue I presented to her very satisfactorily. It's a pleasure to find people like her in customer service.

The employees at the Reus branch were all incredibly rude. They pretend not to see you even when the office is empty. I opened the account to see if it was worth transferring savings, but I'm closing it now because the impression they gave me couldn't be worse.
