DO NOT BANK WITH RABOBANK. They are a nightmare to deal with if you need to close your account, especially if you are not Dutch. DO NOT waste your time with the chat service. Awful.

My father, who suffers from dementia, came by this afternoon (1:00-2:00 PM) to physically block his cards. The middle-aged lady who was on his side made an inappropriate remark regarding 'that the gentleman has to spend the night like a homeless person', because withdrawing money was not possible. Idiotic remark, extremely disrespectful, and totally unprofessional! Scandalous!

I had a major problem with my Rabo scanner. It gave me an error message. I went to the head office in Zeist. A very nice woman helped me very professionally. She removed a number here, removed a check there, and replaced the batteries. I even got a cappuccino. What great service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Rabobank was experiencing an outage, which can happen. You get a message saying they'll fix it, then spend four days trying to get your money back, and when you ask difficult questions, you're simply hung up on.
