Across the local and international banks touting private wealth, the worst experience by far. Losing documents. Not responding after months of delays (6 is a record for you, incredible). Reached out to by multiple staff who do not know what the others are doing. Staff arranging meetings only to cancel at the last minute (already happened twice in rapid succession.) Constantly failing to follow up on the deadlines you yourselves communicated. You are disrespectful to customers who have banked with you for literally 40 years. You have a knack of making people feel like their resources are in unsafe and unreliable hands. I could go on but to do so, like interacting with DBS "PRIVATE" would be a waste of my time.
Edit: 9 days after the incident, officers Dini Shazwani and Sofia Wahab were able to resolve my issue fairly and without further difficulty. Thank you Dini and Sofia! Previously: Been waiting over 4 days now for cashback which was supposed to be credited by end of day Saturday. Support request via the Digibot has been ignored, despite the automated system stating that a reply would be given within 3 working days. Help pages are a mess, telling the user irrelevant and unrelated things they already know how to use, instead of addressing the actual issue. Zero avenues offered for PayLah-specific help and support.
One bad customer experience can negatively impact the image of the bank. Very unfriendly service staff for a simple account opening.
Really bad customer service. I went to the branch for redemption on my investment and the customer service officer didn’t do the redemption as per client request. She made not only one, but several mistakes on my investment inquiries. The issue has not been resolved until now (> 1 month) and I have been calling to DBS customer support for more than 10 times. The response from the team at the branch was really slow. It was their mistakes but they have no ownership or responsibility in solving it. The worst bank I have ever dealt with.
