The counter is for corporate use. The ATM is open to the public. If you have any questions, there is always someone at the reception desk who will help you.
The head office has been merged with the Tokyo Central Branch, becoming just one branch. As a result, the same-day cashing of high-prize lottery winning tickets and the "Hundred Millionaire Room" service, which were the selling points of the former Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank head office, have been discontinued.
The security guards and bank staff greet you in a very loud voice, which makes you feel motivated as a customer. The store has a high ceiling and is spacious, and as you'd expect from the Tokyo branch, you rarely have to wait at the counter. If it's during counter hours, you'll want to use the ATMs there. On the basement floor, there is an ATM corner and lottery ticket counter, where I've never seen all the ATMs filled with customers.
Although the name has changed to Tokyo Sales Department, as it was the former Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank Head Office, some heart marks still remain. The safe deposit box, which was the largest in the Orient at the time, also gives a sense of security.
