Mizuho Bank Head Office 5 5 1-chōme

Stopped by hoping to get some kind of substantive explanation of a special offer that I received in a local branch of Mizuho Bank. Three stars feels extremely generous. I'm trying to justify it against the normal standard of terrible service from ALL Japanese banks. However, as I started this review I noticed that the average evaluation is even worse than three stars. I'm writing as a very old customer of this bank, from way back when it started with a different name and went bankrupt. Surely completely unrelated to poor customer service. So I looked at some other reviews to see if I disagreed. Actually was reminded of a reason to cut it to two stars but I'm going to leave my three-star review to raise the average. Hint: Dead battery.

I opened an account because there was a campaign where you could earn Mizuho points if you deposited a balance of 100,000 yen or more for a certain period of time. However, I later saw that Mitsubishi had the same offer, offering a 20,000 yen cashback, which I thought was stingy, but I'm happy with the good return rate.

Despite what people say, I'm one of those people whose life was saved by Mizuho Bank's lottery tickets, and I'm truly grateful! I was drowning in debt and considering filing for bankruptcy, but I was able to pay it off in one lump sum. I found a model home I liked, so I was able to buy it right away and live in it. I also own two cars and a Harley. 🤙🏾 I'm investing the rest, and so far, things are going well! I'm the third generation owner of a long-established company, so when I take over the company, I'll switch my main bank to Mizuho Bank! I'm so grateful to Mizuho Bank! Thank you so much! 😊

The mere act of doing business with them is a nuisance. The bankbook transaction details only show transactions from the past six months, or rather, the Japanese is so incorrect that you can't see anything at all. It's as if it's run by a corrupt company (to restrict banned words). Aside from the violence, Mizuho is the worst strange company in all industries, including the food and beverage and bathing industries (I can't think of a stranger company than Mizuho). That's how strange Mizuho is. I strongly recommend never using Mizuho Bank. I'd even give it 8 stars less.

Even if you exchange old banknotes, other banks offer it for free if you already have an account! Mizuho Bank steals 990 yen! What a rip-off bank! 500 yen x 6 = 3,000 yen - 990 yen fee = 2,010 yen! What a great business!
