Post Office 1 Bahnhofplatz Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt

I am a client of Postbank, and I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated at this branch. Despite having an active account, I was completely refused when I asked to exchange money. I understand that banks may have policies regarding banknote exchanges, especially for non-clients — but refusing an existing customer without any proper explanation is unacceptable. What was even more shocking was the employee’s behavior. She did not speak English and told me to speak only German. Her attitude was arrogant and superior, she treated me very disrespectfully, and even raised her voice at me. This is absolutely not how a customer should be treated. This branch is centrally located, and I honestly do not understand how someone working at such a central office does not speak basic English. In an international area, basic English communication should be expected — especially in a bank. I left feeling disrespected, unwelcome, and extremely disappointed. I expected professionalism and

I went to the post office in Munich today. Mr. Yaşar was very helpful. He handled my transaction very quickly. I would like to thank him very much.

Friday afternoon, 30 costumers waiting in a row while 2 employees are serving. The shop has 8 serving places and only 2 have been occupied by employees. I needed to wait 40 minutes before I got served. When I was leaving the shop, I could count 46 costumers waiting. This is the worst service I have ever noticed. In my long waiting time I have seen several employees walking around in the shop, nobody got the idea helping out at the 6 free service places. Why the shop has 8 places and only use 25% of their capacity?

I did not realize that it's not possible to pay with my new Hypovereinsbank Debit Master Card. A few months back my bank replaced my Giro card with Debit Master Card. The day before I sent a package from Deutsche Post Filiale 555 where I paid with my Hypovereinsbank Debit Master Card ... today I was sending a few packages from this office (Bahnhofpl. 1, 80335 München) which has branding of Postbank, Deutsche Post and DHL. I was handing my packages to the employee on the counter but unfortunately I had to learn that I had to pay cash which was waste of time for both of us because I didn't have any cash. The German Debit Master Card seems to be very popular and I am wondering why it's not possible to pay with Hypovereinsbank Debit Master Card ?
