Disastrous customer service. I wanted to open a euro account. I sent the requested documents: Algerian and French ID cards, proof of residence in my country of residence, payslip, and 50 euros. An appointment was scheduled for a specific date and time, but it was canceled, and I was told to come without an appointment. Once there, I was told I needed to earn over 3,500 euros per month to open a foreign currency account. A complete waste of time and surprising opening requirements. Thankfully, BNP Paribas in France doesn't treat its customers like they do in Algeria. Avoid at all costs.
