Absolutely the lousiest bank I have ever visited. I do not expect much from German customer service, but this bank branch takes everything to another level. Their working hours shown online are not accurate, you would think they would by now correct this misinformation. And in what world does a bank teller only work for 2 hours before breaking for a 2 hour lunch break and not even have tellers on Wednesdays! Oh yes, there are the ATMs that DO NOT WORK and after much running around from one entrance to the other to find an ATM that works (none of them did) I was told to go to DEUTSCH / COMMERZBANK. On top of all that they have changed their rules so that to open a business account you have to pay 50€ a month minimum on bank fees! Just call yourself a business bank with no interest in dealing with regular customers and put an end to this disaster of an establishment.

Helpful staff compared to another branch I went to of the same bank. Helped me fix my problem step by step patiently, even though there was a language barrier.

Contacting them is a disaster – I emailed HypoVereinsbank Düsseldorf to request an appointment and open an account with a substantial deposit. I received a reply (an anonymous one) stating they were also interested in a meeting and that I should schedule one. They gave me a phone number for Munich. After an incredibly long wait, I finally got through to someone, who told me they couldn't offer me an appointment. Scheduling an appointment online was also impossible. I emailed Düsseldorf directly, requesting they simply send me a suggested appointment time, but received no response. I get the impression that the bank has optimized its processes to its own advantage but has completely forgotten about the customer.
