Terrible service. The women 👩🏿‍🦱 employee is completely overstepping her authority, trying to discriminate against me, but she's forgotten where her ancestors came from. Their bank decides for itself, and the employee said they aren't subject to German law because they're a different legal entity. According to Section 32 of the German Credit Law (Kreditwesengesetz, KWG), banking activities in Germany are permitted only with permission from the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin). According to Section 6 of the KWG, credit institutions in Germany are supervised by BaFin and the German Federal Bank (Bundesbank) and are obligated to comply with German law. I strongly advise against this branch. Even the complaints department doesn't do their job properly! I came there and they confirmed my appointment, let me wait for 30min then told me that the one who was in charge of my request is sick and cannot process my appointment. Such a waste of time and the bank has no commitment or respect for their customer at all!!!

I had a great experience opening my account and doing ID verification. The staff were polite and were able to help me in English as my German is not good enough yet. There was about a 30 minute wait as it was a busy time.
