I am a CIMB Preferred customer promised priority service without queuing. However, I still had to queue like regular customers at this branch. Second, The staff next counter attitude was also unfriend, it not my mistake to take the number twice I only hv one number but she told me why need to take 2 number? Is that the way how the counter judge the customer? This service does not reflect CIMB’s promised standards for Preferred customers.
Counter 1 at stage 1 on 22 September 2025, female staff was so rude. Not talking nicely. Requested document. when i give, saying “dokumen dah macam belacan”. The copy document i keep in my wallet, so thats why. your staff so rude cakap macamtu dengan gaya nak marah sepanjang communication. This is unacceptable and unappropriate. As the document masih boleh digunakan dan jelas dilihat. On the same day, i using the same document buat kad baru di bank lain, no issue pun. Please take appropriate actions.

Honestly the worst bank I have ever been to. Please don't waste your time here guys, find the next CIMB available. I almost gave up my savings account due to 2 very incompetent and dishonest staff. I went there to reactivate my savings account which had become dormant. The staff at the reception very confidently said that a dormant account cannot be reactivated and has to be closed immediately. She also proceeded to say that I would have to open a new account . On top of that, since I'm currently temporarily unemployed they said I can't even open a new account. Also if I do want to open it, I'll have to provide my husband's payslip. Reluctantly I agreed to close the account. Thank God it was a long queue to get it done, so I told them I would come back another day. After leaving the bank, I immediately called CIMB customer service, which to my surprise they confirmed for me that there is no such rule that a dormant account has to be closed. They told me to instead try going to another
