Terrible. I have had several negative experiences with a specific teller who, among other things, mocked me for going to a non-BMO financial planner. Another teller did not follow any security protocols when I purchased a bank draft (I only found out when I went to another branch for another bank draft and went through the appropriate process). Unhelpful, rude and incompetent.
I am closing my accounts due to the consistently poor service at this branch. The experience was disappointing at every level: management was inattentive, the financial advisor was unprofessional and ill-informed, and the tellers were consistently rude. I have since moved my banking to RBC, where the service is far superior.
Worst branch ever. Waited half an hour to do my business, only 1 teller who was rude and lazy, won't accept $3 in quarters dimes and nickels. Last time I heard, banks are where you can get bills for change. I thought the branch at wharncliffe and baseline was bad, the downtown location is the worse.
They deal with a lot of street people and dont have enough staff. They are dismissive and rude, and i will be switching branches soon to a more friendly branch.
They were really combative and unhelpful when I was trying to open an account. I had the documentation that their website said I needed but the bank manager made it frustrating having to argue with her about their own policies. Most of the staff seemed really nice, I think it might of been the branch manager. You'd think they want new customers... Right? She was even rude on the phone before I actually went to the bank. I'm waiting to see if my paperwork gets processed. I wasn't impressed whatsoever with this experience. Update: I emailed them with that provided email, no response. They still haven't followed the law by providing me with a written statement on why they won't open my bank account. So I guess I am forced to go to the OHRC and file a complaint about their non compliance.
