Unreliable employees at this branch. I was asked to follow certain steps by an advisor to facilitate things with my mortgage. I followed the steps they outlined, at which point they were meant to make a change to my account. However, they did not. I tried reaching out countless times to the advisor I originally spoke with, to the branch's main line (which always goes to voicemail, left many messages), and to the customer service dispatch center to book a phone call, and no one calls me back. I've been trying to get them to follow-up for for months. My credit score has suffered greatly because of the lack of accountability at this branch. I've been absolutely abandoned, and based on other reviews, it seems this is business as usual for this branch.

Based on the past six years of reviews, it’s impressive to me how ineffective the management of this branch has been in actually implementing even basic improvements to their customer service. I can corroborate other reviewers’ experiences that the staff at this branch still seem unaware that BMO’s business model, like most businesses, is actually to bring in customers and make money off of them. Despite being given a generous seven weeks and having multiple in-person follow-ups over the course of a month to resolve simple red-tape issues around a very straightforward credit card application, this branch still hasn’t managed to deliver anything. When I finally got through to customer service after the usual 40-minute rigmarole of navigating their automated call system (no option to schedule a call-back, btw), I was told my application had been rejected within the first week because the branch didn’t send corporate enough information. This location has the most unreliable employees I have ever encountered. Every time I come to this location I am told something different. There is no consistency which is ridiculous because this is a banking institution. After the rules were changed on cheque hold time I was told to deposit cheques in person and there would be no hold time or a significantly shorter hold time especially considering I receive my paycheques from a different BMO account. However, each time I come either I receive all my money or I am told that it is impossible even if I tell them someone else did it for me before. It is unacceptable that I am unable to receive consistent information and service from an institution that holds all of my money. Because of this inconsistency I am never sure if I am able to pay my bills and rent on time which is unacceptable.

Based on everything I could see, this was an incredibly poorly run branch. Five very well dressed and laughing employees chit chat idly behind the counter while one person training another newbie fumble around with one customer. Seven of us wait in line as the employees behind the counter laugh and mingle with each other. I’m writing this review because I’m so bored after having waited here for 30 minutes

Don't waste your time. Poor service and incredibly lazy lady hiding behind computer refusing to do her job. All I had to do is a transfer from an investorline account to my commercial account. Both under same name, and this transaction was done countless number of times at another branch. It's crazy how BMO refuses to service their clients and are really not up to the level. EDIT FOLLOWING YOUR ANSWER: I had to go 20 km further to DDO branch for it to be done in less than 5 seconds. I will send you my details because I really find it extremely disappointing that you treat clients this way.
